Gaining Resources for Optimal Wellness

Philosophy & Approach
Naturopathic medicine often uses an onion analogy to relate to health. We all have different layers to our health much like an onion. Layers in health can include fatigue, digestive issues, autoimmune disease, trauma and other ailments. Dr. Potter desires to help support your body to work through these layers so they can “peel” away and get to the core of who you are. Various ways to support this process include botanical medicine, biotherapeutic drainage, homeopathy, LENS Neurofeedback, focusing guided sessions and lab testing.
If you are interested in addressing hormonal, digestive, environmental and mental/emotional layers to get to the core of your health and well-being and discover optimal wellness, contact the clinic through the form below.
About Dr. Potter
Camella (Mia) Potter, ND received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine. Dr. Potter attended the University of California, Berkeley for undergraduate studies where she obtained her bachelors degree in Nutritional Science. Before attending naturopathic medical school, she worked in nutritional research at Oregon Health and Science University and the Cancer Prevention Institute of California (formerly Northern California Cancer Center). She also worked in research with breast cancer survivors and men with prostate cancer at Oregon Health and Science University. She enjoyed her time working overseas in Senegal, West Africa and served as a nutritionist in a medical office.
After completing medical school and becoming a licensed physician, Dr. Potter began working at a thriving integrative primary care clinic with nurse practitioners, an osteopathic doctor, medical doctor, chiropractor and behavioral health specialists. Seeing over 2,000 patients in this integrative setting helped lay a foundation for her understanding of primary care and integrative health. She also trained and specialized in natural foot care at Northwest Foot & Ankle and served as adjunct faculty at the Helfgott Research Institute teaching nutrition to graduate students.
The diverse integrative, collaborative and teaching
experience Dr. Potter has along with her clinical foundation, have allowed her to discover where her true strengths
and passion are in serving patients. She is passionate about educating and empowering people to have healthier physical,
mental, emotional and spiritual lives.
Dr. Potter was formally a competitive gymnast, ultimate Frisbee player and runner. She currently participates in yoga, running and keeping up with her children. She and her family enjoy the outdoors by camping and participating in water activities.
She understands that health encompasses the mind, body and essence of who we are. Dr. Potter desires to equip patients with tools so that they can experience integrative health on all levels. She has an intimate understanding of the body’s ability to heal itself, and seeks out the true underlying cause of health issues. She enjoys creating individualized treatment plans while walking with patients in their personal health journeys.

Testimonials
Camella (Mia) Potter is a fabulous provider. She takes time to listen to your concerns and is always willing to work with you to find out what makes your conditions better. She always goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what is causing your concern, always willing to take extra time to get you additional info and always makes you feel like your needs are important no matter how small or big they may be.
Mia is a great asset to the medical field and brings a breath of fresh air to an industry that doesn’t always have answers or seem caring. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a provider that cares about their patients.

She always has a smile and great disposition, good advice and answers to your problems, never talks down to you, always treating you as an equal. She has touched my life.
